Back when we first reviewed the Mr12Volt P2000 CarPlay/AA unit on our E92 M3 we praised its OEM+ integration and excellent music audio quality. We've sold and installed many of them since with customers agreeing that it is a great way to add some modern features to an older car whilst not ruining the interior aesthetics with a replacement screen.
Now the new P3000 model has arrived, and it remains our recommendation for those wanting to add Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to their CCC/CIC iDrive. But for all our customers with the existing P2000 unit is it worth the upgrade?
