It may surprise some of you but we're actually quite big fans of BMWs 1 Series. Having always liked the Mini platform these newer FWD based BMWs have felt like more grown up versions of them - Similar great handling characteristics but with a more familiar feeling interior, and generally a bit bigger for day to day life.
Some of you may have even driven our very own 128Ti courtesy car when dropping your pride and joy off at our workshop for a longer job.
The new F70 has people divided on it's rather un-BMW exterior, but underneath it's a similar recipe to the previous F40 M135i - only with a little less power, or does it...? Only one way to find out!
